4 Week Board + Train

Our 4-week Board & Train program is designed for dogs progressing toward advanced off-leash reliability or needing additional support with moderate behavioral challenges. Training is practiced in real-world environments—including our 22 acre wooded property, parks, neighborhoods, trails, and large open spaces—with an emphasis on dependable obedience, clear communication, confidence, and calm behavior around other dogs.

This program may be appropriate for dogs pursuing advanced obedience as well as those experiencing mild to moderate reactivity, anxiety, over-arousal, or difficulty navigating social situations.

What Your Dog Will Learn

Off-Leash Recall
A dependable recall practiced in appropriate real-world settings around increased distractions, including people, dogs, wildlife, and environmental activity.

Loose-Leash Walking and Heeling
Calm, structured movement with improved focus and responsiveness in unfamiliar or moderately distracting environments.

Sit, Down, and Place
Reliable command responses developed through progressively increasing distance, duration, and distraction.

Everyday Manners
Clear expectations for common challenges such as jumping, counter surfing, door rushing, nipping, and excessive excitement.

Obedience Around Dogs and Play
Socially appropriate dogs may participate in structured playgroups while learning to remain responsive before, during, and after social interaction. Dogs with behavioral concerns will not be pressured into play; instead, training will focus on calm neutrality, appropriate choices, and confidence around other dogs.

Individualized Behavioral Support
The extended training period allows additional time to address concerns such as leash reactivity, over-arousal, moderate anxiety, and fear-based behaviors. For these dogs, confidence and behavioral progress will take priority before advancing to off-leash training.

Stay Connected Throughout Your Dog’s Stay

We understand how important it is to know how your dog is doing while they’re with us. Throughout the program, we aim to provide daily updates through texts, photos, videos, or a combination—giving you a glimpse into their progress, personality, and routine. Our goal is to help you feel informed and confident while your dog develops a strong training foundation.

Please note: This program is intended for socially appropriate dogs and is not designed for dogs experiencing reactivity, aggression, or significant anxiety.

Your program also includes lifetime trainer support for your dog, so you’ll have continued guidance after training is complete.
